I attend and frequent the larger antique shows and auctions in my area of California.  It is amazing to me how many of these prized pieces and their "custodians" have made California their home, however long and however temporary.  Of course, distance is of no issue these days with shipping so accessible.  All you have to do is have money!  Seriously though, online business has grown to such a degree that shipping is par for the course and few destinations are beyond reach.  Expediency is always entirely up to the customer!
